Need some ideas on what else I can feed my Pbass.I was digging up earthworms and he tore them up at first but now he just spits them out. I also tried little pieces of crappie, ate them at first and I thought he loved them but spitting that out as well.Wont take pellets, ive tried krill, brine shrimp and Cichlad delight. Ive been buying feeders once a week but I would like him and the 2 oscars he's with to be on a varied diet. He or she knows whatever I put in the tank is food but to get him to like what I put in is another story. Im going to the lfs this afternoon to get some feeders and I think I will get some dry krill and try that but would like some other suggestions as well. Good thing the oscars will try and eat anything you drop in so nothing has been wasted.

Thanks
John

Hey'll eventually turn to eat whatever you throw in the tank. I'm sure your oscars eat everything and the pbass should follow shortly. While in a smaller tank, I only fed my small pbass feeders but when they moved to the larger growout, where my other cichla were eating pellets and krill, they quickly learned to eat that stuff as well. Just takes a little time and will-power. Offer the prepared foods on a daily basis and the feeders as a weekly treat. Just something from my experiences. Good luck!

oh yeah, how big is the pbass?

Make sure you feed them from one single spot of the tank, so they know where feeding is all the time. Try bloodworms and then cut silversides. It worked for me and my bass are 2''.

Agreed with this statement. I'm currently feeding two Occel's this way.
