feeding?

I heard people say you can feed senegals earth worms, can they be from outside, or could they be carrying harmful parasites? also can you feed them cocktail shrimps? or does it need to be a specific kind?

I've fed cocktail shrimps and earthworms from outside before. As far as the earthworms go, I don't do it anymore just to be on the safe side. I'd rather spend a dollar on a dozen worms at Wal-mart then lose a beloved pet.

my sen loves cocktail shrimp, earthworms need to be cleaned really well before feeding them to your fish though, but dont use them if you use special fertilizer type of stuff in your dirt.
