How often should i feed my 3 baby piranha? I bought little 1inch by 1 inch squares and bloodworms that i pop out and thaw. I've been feeding them one of those when i get up and when i go to bed. Am i over feeding or under feeding? By the way i have them in a 20 gallon if that means anything :) Thanks for help!

SOunds good.....Nows the age to start training the reds to accept pellets and flake foods...I prefer Hikari Bio-Gold pellets as a staple in the diet....At 1.5-2inches long, start tossing in pieces of white fish meat too....Going to the local fish market and experimenting with diferent types of seafood is pretty fun...Definately upgrade the tank to a 60g+ within the next month or two....Train yourself to do 1-2 25% water changes every week.....Maintaining 80-83degrees and a powerhead(not too big) promotes faster growth...Remember--->weekly water changes:thumbsup: .................

how big are they? they're going to need a 75g or so eventually. but yeah definitely give them a varied diet; white fish, shrimp, superworms are all solid choices

Thanks guys :hearts: Very much appricated. Another quick question, will the piranha eat the worms off the bottom of the rocks because it seems like they eat the worms as they are falling (if they see them) but wont touch them on the rocks. All the useless feeder fish in there will clean them up but im afraid they arent eating......

Feed them anything meaty and why would u train a pirahna to eat flakes and pellets Its supose to be a monster nor a panzy :) but if u want get them on that... and yes they will eat off the bottom if they see it dont worry

A pellet is made 2 give them what the fresh meat doesn't. My RBP'S r 6-7" and i wish they excepted pellets.
