i hear bout feeding pbass a variety of food such as fish filets, shrimp and so on. for fish filets does it matter what type of fish? does matter if its fw fish or sw fish? are there some that are better than others?

one more thing.. my dad's friend was talkin bout feeding fish catfood because it speeds up their growth a ton with all the 'nutrition' in it.. i think bs.. but im no expert. any idea bout this?

I've heard of feeding fish pet food such as dog food but that was catfish and were talking pond fish not aquarium. I would stay away from it as there are better alternatives even on a budget. As for fish I personally have feed raw uncooked shrimp, but never raw fish fillets. I know some people feed cod, catfish nuggets, etc to their freshwater fish but I don't think alot of pbass feeders feeding fish fillets. Most frozen shrimp/feeders/pellets are popular food.

Just gut load feeders and there's your "variety"! Don't waste your money on a ton of food, it's not worth it! Just have a couple.... I have feeders that I gut load, then if I run out I feed shrimp... thats it!
