Feeding

How much should I be feeding my bichirs and how often? I have a 9" Weeksii a 7" Senegal and a 5" ornate and they never seem to eat much and sort of pick at their food, quite the contrary to how bichirs are portrayed to feed :/ help appreciated! Thanks

what are you feeding? how much are you feeding? and did you get them recently?

Catfish pellets, prawns and mussels, probably 10prawns and 30 small pellets a day. Also they share their tank with a convict, a small mystus catfish and a black ghost knife

I feed my 6" delhezi cut talapaia chunks and sinking carnivore pellets. Won't eat anything else yet.

Try and feed some massivore pellets they are high in protein and are really good for them. I got my WC weeksii and WC delhezi to eat them the first day i brought them home.

I feed mine once every 2 nights. Some salmon or talapia. Or hikiri carnivour pellets.
