Saying that mine is always swimming about, not jumpy especially for a characin, they love algea wafers, spinach, and other greens and will do an AWESOME job ridding your tank of algea but their diet must be supplemented cause Im sure the algea cant grow fast enough. Mine has also mouthed and chewed shrimp and squid pieced but has yet to swallow it. Becaure because they can suck slime off of slower fish!

This may be a stupid question but there was a recall on spinach due to the E. coli bacteria; found in it; well till now I am reluctant to eat this stuff and I dont think I wanna give the same thing to my fish. what else is there. Some1 said cucumbers is this okay
