fellow fish lovers ahoy!

hi everyone, new to the forum. just stumbled upon it today. there's so much helpful information, i could spend hours reading thru all the threads.
i have a 10g fw tank with tiger barbs and a couple calico ryukins. i've had fish on and off in the past but never really got into it (or went about things properly)
now i've caught the bug and am completely obsessed with keeping fish. i have a 50g tank that's not set up yet i'm going to try to only fill with found objects (plants, rocks etc) from my local streams and make it like a nature snapshot that doesn't look like so many of those kids' tanks with pink substrate and fake plastic plants that look like they're from mars.

k, enough rambling and goofing online, back to work for me!

welcome to mfk Andrewtwice...and nice to meet you.. hope you enjoy Mfk as much as i do and you will find all kinds of info even about the nature tank you are building.. i have seen a few very natural tanks that look awesome.. i still have some of that awful pink substrate in a couple tanks from years back.. i hate disturbing and moving them all around.. but i know what you mean every time i take a picture,... most of my newer tanks have that natural look and what a difference.. well enjoy the forum
