These Thorichthys meeki have some of the best color I have ever seen. They were also in a tank where they were slowly wasting away. There were about 10 of them in there...and about half of them were on the last leg of their lives. These two were the best lookin out of all of them...still fighting for life. I just couldn't let them stay in those conditions and surely die. Criticize me all you want, but to these two fish, I made a difference.

The TSN was another rescue...haha...same LFS. I could just barely see it in the tank it was so dirty. I normally don't do impulse/rescue buys...but this was rediculous.

Currently drip acclimating all of them in a 5gal bucket...haha. Probably in about another 5 minutes I'll put them in the tank since they have been drip acclimating for about 20min. already...haha.

:o nice, are they firemouths? what size is everyone?
 
Aye, they are Firemouths....biggest one is maybe 2"...maybe. They aren't very big, thats for sure.

The TSN is about 3"...still wee ones...haha. Phil is gonna have to take a donation in about 9 months...
 
Lol, where i work we can never keep firemouths alive any where, sure we have arows and discus but not firemouths, we dunno why, oh well. Good luck with them, need pics of them in their tank :)
 
hey Jer try workin in a fish store (like I now do) you want to take everything home instead of selling it to some moron who is gonna kill it I have people tell me that I am wrong everyday... even though they are just close minded ignorant people I walk to the backroom everyday because I want to kill a customer.....
 
I was saving them FROM the LFS though...haha. I had fun gettin them though, I told him i wanted to save two of his Thorichthy's meeki...and just stood there. He looked so confused, and started to walk up and down the isle lookin lost...haha. I couldn't take it any longer, so i told him the Firemouths...haha. Tis sad though.

I doubt i gotta pair, as they are REALLY small. I put them in with my Thorichthys pasiones...and geez...they are SMALL! My pasiones DWARF them! Haha
 
:) very nice..small is okay... you get to watch them grow.
