Hello Mfk,

I was at the lfs and found this female Betta on the ground. The owner put it in a cup and offered her to me for free. Something about karma. Anyhow I though it was gonna be dead this morning, but to my surprise she's still alive. It looks like her face was bitten off on one side. Her left eye is bitten off as well as a good portion of her face. She's in a specimen tray with just epson salt and methylene blue( the only things I had at hand). It looks like her mouth is bloody but it still works. She ate a bloodworm. Any suggested treatments? Also will be medicating her in the specimen tray, so helps on dosage be nice as well. 3cups volume.

Excuse the photo bomber.

Thanks for any advice in advance. Cheers.

Well. Her mouth is healing well and a lot of the blood clotting has subsided. The secondary fungys infection she had is gone as well. Treated with tetra fungus buddy, epson salt and daily water changes. Meds mixed in a 2 gallon container for easy water changes. She's floating in a specimen container and flares at the other female betta and is moderately active. She still has a ways to go, but I'm sure she will be fine. I guess im just a sucker for rescues. I'll take a snap later, she is freakish though.
