Hi.

Bought a wild cought female about 2-3 weeks ago.
She goes with two other rays,- a male and a female.
The last 3 days she have began to do this:

And she is not gentle at all...

The thing is she is only doing this to the other female. She`s not touching the male..

Everyone i have talked to says that female rays never bite each other. That they are always peaceful... well...? :D
Could it be dominance...?

ha ha, i have learned that all the crap everybody says about males fighting each other is crap (atleast in my tank). I have the exact same problem. My females are always biting each other. They like to go after each others spiracles.

I can relate to this too!

She looks great (looks a lot like my male)....not sure that the females just showing dominance. I think if it was a true bite youd see more damage....probably just rasping.
How much did she cost you if you dont mind me asking

i found that leos are just very aggressive. all my rays are biters...

get used to seeing scars on your rays if u plan on keeping a group

Yep and yep. In fact I just had a pregnant motoro kill my pregnant flower. No issues together for months until the motoro got knocked up.

Where the hell have you guys been when ppl have been telling each other that males are the worst!?! :D (Have read this "many" times here on MFK).

"Keeping several females together is no problem" - my ***! :D
