does a female dovii have the k9 fangs like the male and about what size does she need to b to breed

I ussally see 13"ers breed but i kno they can breed younger than i would GUESS 6-7"

My Female is maybe all of 6'' maybe and she bred already still raise'n her lttle ones to. I had a bumch of fish in with my male and female and once i took them all out with in a week maybe two there was a good amount of eggs considering her size.

cool thanks for the help she is alil small then ...she is about 3.5 4 inches ....hopeful soon im trying to power feed her to gether to grow faster any suggestions

Females grow the teeth as well. Wild caught females have alot of teeth. Just as many as the males. Females can breed at 4in. But breeding them at that size will slow down their growth. I would wait till she is about 7-9in to breed. Females are just as nasty as the males sometimes even worse. My LFS has a wild caught pair and the female is like 10in and huge. She keeps the male to one side of the tank.

Male 20 inches and the Female was only 6 inches!!
