I was wondering if my females egg tube looks normal.

She has never laid eggs for me and I've noticed the tip of her egg tube looks black-ish?
I did my best to take some pictures. I just want to make sure her egg tube isn't damaged or injured.

Thanks

I think it's bad. It can come out more and look nasty. Take care of your water. It does go back. There's been many worse than that though.

I think you misunderstood.

I'm not worried that the egg tube is out. Egg tubes are meant to come out/drop. It comes out when she goes through her breeding behaviour, darker colors, egg tube drops, nest building etc.

I wanted to make sure her's looked healthy. Particularly the tip where it is blackish.. it has been this way since I got her, almost a year.

She goes through normal breeding behaviour, including her egg tube dropping she has just never laid eggs.
