Female FH characteristics

Hi All, I am too sure if it's just me but it seems as though females tend to be less people friend compared to males. All mine come up to me for food but aren't as excited as the male would be and of cos aren't really letting me touch them as per the male. Maybe cos im a guy and they think im sexually harassing them who knows.

I have never notice my females to act any different to me than my males

My females seem more like protective than the males esp during breeding season.... the males are still friendly while the female just bites.
