She is very swollen on one side. She stays at the top of the water. Eats very well, but can't go to the bottom. Giving her antibiotics from aquarium store. Been a month now. The next step they say is penicillin. What do you think? She is about 12" and very pretty. Don't want to lose her.
 
sounds like a swimbladder problem..
i would recommend getting "Epsom Salt"
grab a bucket and half fill it with water from your tank and add 3tbs
Put the fish in there for up to 10 mins keeping an eye on it..
Do this 2 or 3 times a day for the next few days..
You should notice a big difference within 2 or 3 days as the Epsom salts will draw out fluid..
