It's a common misconception that FH can't tolerate large water changes,I did 50% WCs every 4 days and my fish was fine.I agree, unless you have a massive tank keeping nitrates low with only 10% WCs is going to be difficult in the long run.

Well, larger water changes always help. What’s the tank size? 11-20% is barely anything. Magnus_Bane Magnus_Bane kno4te kno4te
i remove the poop from from the tank daily and the tank is 5 foot 1 so i do about 5 liters daily

Larger water changes, less frequently. Fish like a nice clean house to live in but they also need privacy too. Think of it this way. Would you wanna get freaky with someone else while this giant just comes by and starts sticking random things in the water and doing only god knows what? Yeah no, fish like to have some privacy just like we do.
I would say start with a 50-60% water change once every week to every other week. Also when doing water changes, try to make sure the water is just a lil bit cooler then the rest of the tank. This helps to trigger breeding responses do to it simulating the cold spring rains. Another trick I used to use was to let the water naturally drain from the tank for a few weeks before refilling it and giving it a water change. The draining period simulates the dry season just before the rainfall that comes with the breeding season.

btw would you mind posting a pic of the whole tank? It'll help let us know if there are any other areas where advice may be needed.
