Taken with the "new" lens that just showed up. Tamron 80-210mm. $20. :P Just messing with it as it's not really a good "fish" lens. Though I do like the last photo.

First two shots are with a Tamron 1.4x teleconverter on as well. I was sitting all the way across the room for the first two, with this lens, the teleconverter, and my sensor crop factor I have a zoom that is 441mm. :)

Last one is just the 80-210mm on the "macro" setting

the 2nd and 3rd pics are niiice

The third one is much better than the other two, but that's what happens when you add in a teleconverter. I'll have to put the TC through it's paces outside where it would be better used. In the second photo I'm literally 15 feet from the tank at least.

I disagree personally. I prefer the others as they have better DOF.

Define "better". I like the bokeh in number three.

There is more depth of field in the 1st 2 pics. In the 3rd pic, only the fishes eye and cheek are in in focus. There is not much extra distance to the pectoral fin but it is completely out of focus. Therefore I prefer the first 2 pics.;)
