I've noticed over the last couple of days, my female Managuense has gotten a lot of green on her pectoral fins especially.

It's not something i have ever seen before on a Jag, but i'll admit i have never looked for green on them either.

Has anyone elses female Jags got any green on them?

They are not currently breeding, so it's not part of her breeding dress.

Cheers,

My camera has a hard enough time taking a non-blurry pic, let alone capture color :(

I will try though.

Like i predicted, the pictures are pretty bad.

Colors are off, especially the green is hard to capture.

But i THINK you can hint the green on her in these couple of pics.

Otherwise come see her live, lol :)

I'm not exactly sure what your point is, but thanks anyway for the comment :)

I have never seen this before on mine, but I have heard of it happening. You might want to make sure it is not some kind of disease too be safe, but I think it is just natural. Lots of cichlids change color especially during breeding or periods of stress. You might also have a hybrid or simply a jag that is not 100% pure.

They are wild caught, and in perfect health.

I have never seen this before either, and she only started developing it recently.
