Im slighty concerned with the growth of my female jaguar the first Picture was taken late august and the other one is from today. Is her growth concerning? The oscar was about the same size at purchase as her but he probably has 2x the body mass now. Also My jaguar is showing NO aggression to anything except feeder fish. Do they not get aggressive?

Female growth slows dramatically at a certain point. If she's eating and is healthy I wouldn't be concerned. Try feeding her more variety if you aren't already. Keep us updated.

I have found that all of my females over the years grew dramatically slower than the males. Jags (and other Parachromis for that matter) will start to develop mass at around 4" rather than length. What are you feeding her right now?
