female jaguar will have egg problem?

my female jaguar is about 15 inches long, i got her as a mate for my male jaguar whose a little smaller then her. they did the whole courting thing the ended u paring off, clearing rocks and everything. started to swell, u could tell shes build up eggs but she never lays them. they rub constantly, they'll move rocks real heave for about a week or so then stop for a couple days. it seemed to me as if they were going through the whole mating process without laying eggs, so i put a plate in there about a week ago and there back at it again. any thoughts?

I bred these fella's before and this is what i need, added a smooth rock in the middle of the tank. Bump up the temp and covered the tank with a blanket.

I fed them only once a day and made sure they dont know that im there. With in 2 weeks they started spawned. At the beginning they didnt do much until i put a blanket around the tank. It works hope that helps.

I simply built my Jags a "love shack", and added some convicts for them to harrass. They breed all the time now.

the bigger the better fry 0.5-1.5" usually sell for a dollar from a store and 25-50 cents to a store but they do have big spawns I would guess mine usually do 300+
