def looking female to me as well, is there another fish beating on her or something, she looks like she has scale damage on her side...
 
Thanks everyone! She does seem to have a little bit of scale damage. The store I got her from had her in a tank with a bunch of other JDs that were picking on her. I got her for a steal and am hoping that when my EBJD matures enough(and it's a boy) that these two will pair up. Once she is looking better I'll be sure to make a before and after post of "Bessie" lol. Thanks again!
