So I've got a 38 gallon african riverine setup with a pair of Pelvichromis taeniatus, African brown knife, dwarf giraffe catfish, some alestid tetras, and some african banded barbs. It's got a good amount of bogwood snd some bolbitis snd anubias as well. Parameters are perfect, and all my fish look happy.

Except my female krib. She sits on the bottom or in the small cave the pair uses, and doesn't eat much. But she doesnt gave any visible signs of illness. I'm not seeing soawning colors either, so I'm dumbfounded.

Anyone got any ideas? I think the tetras might be spooking her but i dont wanna get rid of them because they were a pain to find.
Also, i feed dried and frozen bloodworms as well as vibra bites and flakes.

You've got quite a few other fish in there, it's possible that something else is bothering her. Why do you say you suspect the tetras? Have you seen them nipping at her?
Larger tetras can definitely be nippy, I wouldn't put it past the alestids. From the info given in your post, assuming all water parameters are OK and nobody else seems sick or down, my first guess would be a tankmate giving her grief or annoying her enough to stay in the cave.

Possible may be eggs in the cave. Had a female Pelvichromis Pulcher that had similar behavior when eggs were present in a pvc cave.
