Can someone tell me how to accuratly sex a Lent. I have a chance to pick up some from a buddy but i want a female and I'm just not sure and he isn't either. Do the females have the white along the caudal fin? Any pics would be helpful too. Thanks.

The VZ lent will exhibit the bright white stripe on the dorsal if female. She will also be missing the striations on her stomach.

Here's the female. Note the lack of belly striations and the white sub-marginal band in te dorsal:
A large ripe female will also be very round with a pinkish belly.
If it is a RN lent they are much more difficult to sex but the same rules apply. They are also much less common so you should jump on it regardless of the sex.
