I got this little lady a couple weeks ago. I'm only just now posting because I wasn't sure if she would survive. My buddy got her in to his shop and she was the most emaciated ray I had ever seen...and I've seen some rays in pretty bad shape!
Anyway, every bone in her body was showing and her hip bones were sticking out so far, I swear they were piercing her skin. I did not take a before shot because I seriously did not think she would make it. I went home, got some crawlers and took them back to the store to see if she would eat. She hovered over it but did not eat.
The next day, my buddy said he crushed some rosies and she ate it. So I decided to take her home to give her some real TLC. Since I got her home, she's been eating very small pieces of nightcrawlers until today.
Today, she ate five (5) chopped up, vitamin enhanced nightcrawlers!
I got her in a 75 quarantine dosed with prazipro at about 82 degrees. She is showing good signs so I felt a little more comfortable taking photos. Her appearance now versus two weeks ago is NIGHT and DAY! She is and will be (if she continues to progress) a BEAUTY!
