female midas and red face barred midas...

both of these two are proven females...the midas head gets more bigger when in breeding mode just as the barred midas too...i know it looks like a male because of the body n head...but this produce lots of frys...i have about 200 250 frys that are around 1/4 of an inch....

beautiful females ...my female is very similiar.. she looks male sometimes..

Figures you live in Cali.....i woulda liked some fry:D:D:D:DYou don't see good sttuf like those at my LF'S...i get the old"They don't sell,so i don't order them" line when asking about CA's..
 
yeah first is a female..its just the adrenaline of breeding
 
Midas are hermaphrodites, they can change sex. They are all female except for the dominant one, which is a male.
 
nice barred i allmost got one at petsmart they had it in with red midas for like $8 but didn't cause i didn't have a tank for it then
