Is this normal, got 2 females and the females are huge compared to the 2 males, like half their size, the females eat like a pig :) they came from the same batch and were pretty much similar in size when i got them. the largest one eats a lot and looks like a pregnant molly :)

Is it normal for females to get bigger than males. Yes and no. It all depends on which one is more dominant and which one eats more. If you ever raise fry's you will see that some will out grow others due to them eating more and being more dominant. For example out of 100 fry's 25% will grow faster than the rest with a mix of males and females. 50 % will be middle size and 25 % will be runts. Out of different size group some will out grow others. So to really answer your question. The females you have will grow faster than the male to a certain point since they are eating more, but a male will surpass the female in time. Since male motas get bigger than females. I would keep an eye on the male since the females are bigger in size and could pick on the male. If this happens separate the male until it gets to the same size or bigger than the females.

Are you sure they are females?

There ism nothing abnormal about the current growth difference. I had females that grew faster than males but the males eventually grew larger.
