My female peacock was holding for 3days before I stripped the eggs. I put them in my tumbler with the air pressure low enough so that the eggs just slowly rotated and rolled around. There were about 20 eggs. Until I came home today and saw that they were all empty egg shells that floated to the top of the second screen of the tumbler. I'm not sure if I did something wrong or if they were not fertilized by a male? Do the females usually lay eggs even if they don't have a partner? Should I have let the female hold longer? This is the second failed attempt for me with the same female. :( The first time I let here hold the eggs for almost two weeks before I noticed she wasn't holding anymore and there was no sign of fry or eggs anywhere. Any input will be appreciated! I feel like a failed parent...:(
