one wont know until one tries.It would be a good combo IMO.Female RT's can be pretty mean though.As for the Con from what I've seen they will mate often with whats availiable.Good luck.

learn form you mistakes... if your wrong.. your mistake is thinking that they can breed 2gether.. what can you lose

A bit ironic, I just put a small female RT in my 75 today. Her and the male black con, who's a bit older but the same size as the RT, have seemed to formed fast friends. I watched them swimming around the tank side by side for quite some time. Very interesting...
