Female trimac max

I have only seen largish females (tall, and thick, but not necessarily length-wise) on MFK. I remember a while ago seeing a board member (forgot the name) who posted a massive female that could be passed as being a male. She was ~10-11". I would assume that size is a bit on the higher side, and normally you would have them max out at 9".

The one that you have now is the largest female I have seen personally :)
 
books state a max size of 10" for a female but as said most are a bit smaller than that,males on the other hand i've seen at 15" and some say they can get 18" but i doubt it

Oscar guy- shes doing really well, she was eating within 2 hours of being in the tank. I think shes happy to get away from your male.
I know You got her from fish farm, do you know if she is F1?

Glad to hear that. She always accepts food, even with the male around to bully her -- she will probably pack on a few, now that she will be eating without any worries :)

I am not sure if she was F1 as I didn't ask Ken when I got her.
