Thanks,thats what I thought as well. She is around 5" and is eating small pieces of earthworms finally. I have some black worms on order.

need a clearer pic of the fins to be 100%. at this small size the claspers could be tiny and we could be missing them.

glad she? is eating.

have you tryed hikari sinking carnivor pellets? mine just dived on them no problem.

She wont stay still long enough when she is on the side of the tank. Been trying to take pics for a few days now.I will keep trying for a clearer one.

I havent tried pellets yet, but now that I know which ones to get I will get some and try.

Ok,what are claspers? Are they the small fins in the back?

Clasper r the little pointed tips, one one each rear fin,
the claspers r positioned on each the rearfin , the side nearest the tail.
I reckon he is male.
