Well I think i figured out why my cuban male was so nasty to my female. I realized after moving them that my temperature in my 125 was rising to 87 degrees! The heater malfunctioned and now will not turn off no matter what I do. So I have to periodically turn it off so the water does not get too warm. The temps are now 78-80 and the male is much more peaceful... at least to the female. The fenestratus female isn't backing down from the cuban male although the dull colored male is a wimp and is chased hard by the cubans. I couldn't catch the centrarchus so they will stay in the 125 for a little bit longer. The male and female fen do seem to get along and do display to each other a lot. I have 3 pairs of fish now hopefully somebody spawns for me :D.

PS: can anyone recommend a good heater that will not malfunction. First it was my stealth heater and now it is my ebo jager heater :(.

Anyway enjoy the video.

Cubans look as though they will spawn soon. The female fen is proving good competition for the pair. As for the male... Even my female Cuban picks on him. And I have no idea why his color is so dull.

[h=1]Marineland Visi-Therm Heaters is what i use and its been great for my tanks and the price is great[/h]

@expticGreen-thanks the cubans are my favorite. Full of personality and very aggressive.

@AQUAMONSTER- I did have the marineland visi-therm stealth heater and it suddenly stopped working after like 2 years. I am looking for something better.

Yea I miss the Midas too. But I do love my cubans. Just wish they grew faster.
