so 2 days ago i move most of my fish in another tank except my festae pair amd 2 other fish ... hours later they started to digg pichies so i did a 40% wc i just need a lil advise so i can get them spawning , 1st qestion what temp i should keep my tank .2nd should i have the water moving fast or slow 3rd is will pelco stop them from breeding or do i have to take them out of tank .. ill post pics or videos later ..

I would image you would have to take any fish out of the tank besides the festae pair as they will probably kill anything in it. As for the temperature, I'm not sure what it should be because I have never owned let alone breed this lovely species of cichlid. All I can say is the temp should definantly be on the warmer side. Hopefully someone with festae breeding experience on the forum can help you with these questions. I'm new to MFK but I have read some good stuff from UMBEEKING, he might be able to help you. I wish you luck, and if you do end up with some fry, how much will you be selling them for?
