due to moving and other circumstances i have been forced to empty my 150 and could only keep my prized festae 'estae'. I am keen to get it set up again in the coming months, but im not quite sure which cichlids/schooling fish would be good choices. shes pretty rowdy for little girl, approx 5 inches, which is why i reckon she would be a bit better with only 1 or 2 more cichlids and a couple of schoolers. Anyone have any suggestions???:D

I would go with some jds or something similar with some sds or tin foil barbs for the shoals. Make sure whatever cichlids. You get are just as big as she is . Anything smaller could become lunch and anything bigger could pose a problem.

Yeah I was thinking something along the lines of a jd. I was also thinking a small school of clown loaches and one or two smaller plecostomus. Do you think these are suitable? As long as estae is the centerpiece I will be pretty happy

Yeah loaches would be great as long as she can't catch em. A small group of pitcus cats might work also.

Any opinions on whether geo brasiliensis would be a good tankmate?

I wouldn't but it depends on the specific fish and thier specific temperament.

Get some sort of Myleus schomburgkii - they look cool as a school, are fast, and will eat similar foods

A Green Terror would be a nice contrast to your Red, If you could pull it off that is.
