Kind of kills me to do this, but up for sale is my breeding pair of festae. I have some Uaru fernandezyepezi coming in this week and need to free up tank space. The person I got them from said they obtained them from Umbeeking. A friend of mine wants them badly, but I can't see them going into his very large community cichlid aquarium. They breed VERY consistently. Both are excellent parents. Whatever setup they go to will probably require some dither/target fish. Firstly the it cuts way down on the males at times aggressive behavior to the female. Secondly it really seems to be the trigger to get this pair to spawn. They currently have fry that are about 2 or 3 months old and show no signs of tiring of them, though I have pulled the majority of the babies over the last week. Prefer pick up, but will entertain the idea of meeting someone halfway (San Bernardino?) or shipping if no pick-up option occurs. If someone decides to meet up with me they will need to Paypal me the funds first. Obviously the same would hold true for shipping. Do need to move them somewhat quickly. Asking $275 OBO. Please excuse the crappy photos. I had to move the driftwood out of the tank to photograph them and they spooked. In addition the tank was stirred up. In the process the female scrapped her nose a tad (see photos). They were NOT HAPPY with my moving things around and look much better typically. Photos were taken today and last one shows the male with fry. I also took a little "Superbowl Sunday" video of them I can text, but please, only if you're serious. Feel free to ask any questions.

No they would not be fine in a 55! They'll need a minimum of 75 and will need to be upgraded to something larger than a 75 soon

Great lookin pair by the way!! Totally worth every penny IMO!! If I already didn't haven plans set I would have sent you money ASAP!!

Thank you Jason & Clockwork. Jason is right, I put them in a 75 right prior to breeding because I was tired of having the fry disappear in the 125. But every time I pass by the aquarium I somehow feel a sense of shame because I know this is the smallest size tank right now now for them and at that, it's not optimum. Wish I knew how to post the video here because she is much closer to her normal color in that. Kinda washed out in the photos.
