my festae have one week old fry and i had to put a divider in as the female was getting a bit cranky now my my question is have i broken the bond and they have and how will they go again through the divider. also the male is hiding all the time

with festae you may need to drop the divider from time to time to protect one or the other, or just give them a break from spawning. and with this species its never a permanent bond, either one can snap one day and itll all be over. as long as th divider is in they can still see eachother so i wouldnt worry too much about it. you may have to work the divider again for a bit after you pull the fry. and the male is prolly just stressed or something. once you pull divider or remove the fry he should come back around
