Festae eggs hatched today!

So heres an update on the spawn...they hatched today. Or could have been last night, I didnt look at the tank before work this morning. 3 years Ive been trying to get this male to spawn!

Sorry for the crappy pics, I had to use my phone because I didnt have my work camera at home tonight.

No violence in the tank...but all the other fish are staying on one side of the tank.

I dont really know for sure, but im going to guess it was one of or a combination of the changes Ive recently made in the tank...

took all fake plants out and added all live plants
added about 130lbs of mopani wood
put 140 watts of HO Natural Daylight T5's on timers in place of 40 watts of aquaglos manually turned on and off on no sort of rigorous schedule
or just the newest female I added in July I believe. The first one he hasnt tried to kill after a week.

Since adding the wood, they have had a place to hide the size of a football without me being able to see them.
