I seen some Festae for sale at BluegrassAquatics about a month ago and was wondering if anyone has ever bought Festae from this place. They go for 22 dollars each. I noticed all photo's are stock photos so I contacted the store through e-mail and asked about them. I was told that they were F1 fry from wild parents and that they were going fast he only had 15 left. I then asked if I could get some pics of them or the parents and he said he wasn't in his store so he couldn't and that "they were going fast anyway" and he wouldn't have any more for a long time. Well it's been a little over a month and I see he still has them on the website and am interested in buying some. Is anyone familiar with bluegrassaquatics, are they a well known place to buy fish?

I'd be leery on this if they can't produce pictures of the parents, especially at 22 a piece. That's a lot to spend on possible Mayan/Urophthalmus or possibly not even getting the fish at all.

Dan at Cichlids of the Americas has some 2" listed. I think last time I talked to Gage (Cichlid Connection) he said he had some as well not on his list.

yes good guy. i met the owner at his house in louisville ky, were i have bought fish from him. He has a large fish room at home for local pick up. He has fish farms in florida.
