Festae juvenile sexing?

I really want a female festae and a guy on craigslist has a tank of juveniles that hasn't started to color up yet. I just want to know how to tell the difference at this size if its possible.

I just picked up a couple of one inchers a month ago from WET SPOT. I will have to try this technique in the morning. The LFS just got some too. Maybe I can pair them up now.

You are not going to be able to sex them til about 4-5 inches. Anything smaller looks exactly the same male and female. They will all have the bland yellow color until then size up. Don't waste your time.
