Yesterday I finally got my first group of festae juvies after looking for months... they're doing good, very active and eating well. They're about 1 inch and some of them already have red fins. The problem is I just found a clown loach with ich in their tank, it's no surprise because the crappy store where I bought it (pet solutions usa) had many tanks with fish severely infested, shame on me for adding her to the tank without previous quarantine.

My question is can I treat with 86 F and salt (1 tbsp per gal) without harming the festae? I have treated clown loaches with this before and they healed pretty well. My other concern is the amazon swords/anubias in the tank. Affff.... never buying anything from that ****ing store again.

i'm not a plant guy but with that treatment the festae's will be okay in fact that might even help the festaes

I am currently treating my my small festaes for ick in my 120 gallon with the same method. They are doing ok except one that I see in a corner by it self not moving much and not eating. The other are doing great so far. Just make sure there is lots of aeration.

Thanks guys. Yeah I have a lot of aeration. I just don't wanna mess this up lol you have no idea of what I've gone through to get these festaes down here in miami.
