Today I went to buy a couple of dither fish (silver dollars) to spread aggression between my two festae. Needless to say I have never seen them color up so nicely... or aggressively. The larger one (left pic) has had aggression issues with the smaller one (right pic).

I am hopeful for the future that they turn out to be a pair. One is growing substantially faster than the other, but only time will tell.

I thought I would share some pics with you guys. Let me know what you think.

And a FTS for good measure.

Nice Festae and tank. I can tell from the tattered fins of the smaller one that it is being beat up by the other one. I think adding more fish was a good idea. Festae have a nasty habit of fighting and killing their siblings. Unfortunately my growouts liked to attack and kill all other tankmates as well. I hope they both make it to maturity.

Agreed, it's tail fin is the only thing tattered. The larger one had it cowering in the left corner.

I know at least one of them will make it past the 5" mark. I am doing everything I can to make sure they both do though. I will be posting my 100 gallon setup for these two within the next couple of weeks.

OMFG, They look beautiful, love your set up too.

Thanks Cali, all thanks to you bud. How are yours doin'?
