Yall must be just guessing in the dark because I don't see anything in that fish that points one way or the other. I have juvies up to 5" fish and the only confirmed female I have is 4.5" and I just can barley tell.
The visual way to sex them is black in the dorsal closest to the head, and usually noticeably less spangles in the body. Males will have a spangle in the middle of each scale on the back half of the body
well here are my two rio tumbes f0 cichlid of america's at 3 inch, female clearly has black in the dorsal... just my opinion of whats male and female in my two...
