I'm posting this for a friend on a Facebook page so can't get many pics to post. I think it's a female but I'm not sure ImageUploadedByMonsterAquariaNetwork1385428949.085491.jpgImageUploadedByMonsterAquariaNetwork1385428964.413384.jpg

looks male to me, at this size the stripes would be more prominent if it were female.

Damn g I haven't seen you on in a long time.

The lack of spangles on the tail has me thinking female

for a male that is a rare look.

So I think it's a female not displaying the black dorsal.

Yeah, Been gone way to long.
I took second look and now you got me guessing. I will say that after keeping Festae for a while I have seen them display all kinds of patterns. Stripes are not always the way to judge. The lack of spangles would lend itself to female.
If the fish was stressed it could cause the stripes to look faded.
