Festae or Mayan?

Thanks on the bike! :)

The orange fish is a Midas picked up a year ago as a baby from LFS. Yeah there are a lot of aggressive fish in there, but they all seem to get along well so far with some minor territory issues, mainly from the Flowerhorn.

No, not the Midas. I'm talking about the larger, round fish, mostly golden brown, with orange smeared on the side.
And no, the Urophthalmus is not in bad shape at all. She's gorgeous.

The Mayan is in decent shape, though this tank is a tough one for newbies. The colors are slightly washed out, but he is holding his own in the tank and competing for food well, so I'm sure in a few weeks the few scuffs will be gone and he will be fine. The brown/tan/orange fish you are probably talking about is a Bocourti. He is awesome, and probably the toughest fish in the tank, and the only one I've seen stand up to the Flowerhorn yet.

Actually, the colors are very good for a Mayan - that is the coloration of a happy Mayan, by the way.
And yes, I believe you are talking about the Bocourti - gorgeous fish!!! Makes me want one!

I thought it might be a festae because it has a lot of red in it. The only Mayan I've seen before was mostly green/brown. That Bocourti is awesome. Lots of personality and tough too, but not overly aggressive towards the others unless provoked. Pretty sure he is the one that took a chunk of the Flowerhorn's fin off and tore up his body. He is one of my favorites.
