Festae pair + large clown loaches??

Loaches are 4-8", festae are still only ~2.5", planning on getting a pair out of the 8 juvis, tank would be 6'.
Asking for trouble or are the loaches fast enough to stay out of their way?

as slow as festae grow, I think youll be fine for at least another year (or longer) in a 6' tank.

And after then? If/when they pair up is it game over for anything in the tank?

For whatever reason clown loaches seem to do fine with large and aggressive fish. I'd say it's probably ok.

It was for me once the fry hatched. It was fine up until then...but it was in a 265 with all smaller tankmates.

I dont recall reading about anyone thats had a pair that spawned in a community tank and were ok with tankmates...not saying it cant happen, just cant think of anyone on here thats done it. They all apparently knew what I didnt and had them in their own tank.
