i have a pair of festae by themselves in a 75 gallon tank. when they were younger (about 1 in.) they would eat bloodworms and pellets. now they are about 6 and 4.5 inches. i noticed a couple months ago they have been eating less but at least still eating. the last week or so i noticed that they really haven't eaten anything. i have been feeding them the same food. i can see all the food that i give them floating around. they are both active and healthy as far as i can tell. any thoughts or suggestions on what i can do to get them to eat more?

That happened to my angel fish and my green terror. Its just a faze that they go through that lasts about 3 weeks

Thats what happens when fish become adults, their metabolism can slow down, reduce your feedings, its the same w/ my piranhas, also it could be related to stress. Test your water, if you have any nitrite or ammonia then you need a 75% water change asap, it could be high nitrates as well, anything over 40-50ppm can cause stress!

Buy an api master kit at ur local lfs or if $$ is tight buy a 5pack of dip strips! GL
