Hello, so a bit of a back story story here. Almost 4 weeks ago I got a “pair of festae” (I use the word loosely as they have only spawned once and they are the eggs).
So a week after I got them they layed eggs in the 75g Quarentine tank I had them in and now they have had free swimming fry for over 1.5 weeks now.
When they were in the 75g they were very shy and would only eat food if I put it in their caves.
A few days ago I have moved them to my 220G alone with their fry and they are doing well except for the fact that they have not eaten and if I get anywhere close to the tank they run and hide. I am getting worried that they are getting thin. I wanted to see if anyone had any tips for feeding them, when I feed I need to turn off my power head, and return pump otherwise the food goes everywhere. I have tried live blackworms, nls there a 3mm. I was recommended to get the northfin carnivore 10mm pellet as that sinks fast so I wouldn’t need to turn off my powerhead and return pump. Just wanted to see if anyone had any advice please. Included are two videos of them from a week ago. Am I stressing myself too much?
