Festae pairing age?

I got three 1-2" festaes . I believe are siblings . Im hopefully getting some more soon. But I noticed the 2 bigger festaes been hanging out together a little more then usual. Yesterday I noticed the biggest one start fighting with my jd then go head to tail with the 2nd biggest festae and start spinning in circles . I thought they were fighting at first then realized he wasnt being super agressive like with the jd. So im wondering is it possible for them to pair so young?

Festae flex a lot among themselves at that size. That's all. it's not courtship.

From my experience females aren't ready to spawn until they hit the 5" mark and males are ready around the 8" mark.

just cause it works like that for you doesnt mean it will be the same for me, no offense. and the question wasnt will they spawn its was will they pair up
