I know I am going to drive ya'll nuts but Festae are not like any of the many other different species of SA/CA's or Africans in my house. I have a 10" male and a 6+" female in my 150gal. They are pretty much alone except for a 3 1/2" female Green Terror, 3 1/2" Jag and three 2" acie (dithers).

Anyways back to the question lol. They do not show any aggression at all towards each other...ever. Lately whenever he is out and about they are together and she is always putting her belly in his face. They are spending more time together but still have separate caves. Is this early signs of them possibly pairing up?????????

+1. My jds are like that. I just got a 3" pair. As soon as I introduced them they were instinantly in love. But the female stays under my driftwood and my male stays in or around his cave . Sometimes they go give each other affection but its not all time.
