Ok MFK need a bit of advice from the Festae keepers.
I currently have a male festae about 23cm long, I purchased a few juvie festae a few months ago as I really wanted a female to go in the tank with him. Not so much for breeding, more cause I really love these fish. Plan is to keep one or two females and sell the males.
Now, the juvies have grown (10-12cm) and it looks like I have at least one female
, and she has started to pair up with one of her brothers.
The question I have is, do I split the pair up and hope the female gets along with my larger male (when she is big enough) or do I keep the pair together?
I'm thinking that if any breeding goes on I would prefer to mix up bloodlines a bit.
Any advice would be great.
Thanx.
