Cannot find them in my area without ordering them offline. Dont care to pay for shipping but for some reason everyone is charging ridiculous prices for these. I thought they were cheap because they were so popular? Guess not

Like 2-3'' just dont want to pay an arm and a leg for a fish that goes for $20 at LFS's

Demand is high, and quality is in very limited supply. In addition, the Festae mainland(Ecuador) put a halt on exporting them and naturally prices skyrocketed. It's no longer easy to find super high quality ones. A few dedicated hobbyist decided to invest in as many A+ top shelf specimens as possible to assure they wouldn't have to rely on external resources again to supply the most popular and sought after Cichlid in modern history. It'll be hard to get any if you don't want to pay shipping. That's the nature of the current beast.

You won't find a 3" Festae for $20 at any LFS within 500 miles in my area. And in LFS's you might get one that hails from the Rio Mississippi by way of Columbia, by way of Radical Rickey's F3 project, who knows? Heck in many areas you pay $15-$25/inch for watered down ones, If quality doesn't matter too you, then by all means grab some, or order some of those 1" wild caught poppyseeds that are in circulation.:shakehead

$20 yesterdecade isn't $20 today.:headshake
