Festae sexing/venting

Could someone help me defining sex of my two Festae please ?

1. This one suppose to be a female:



2. This one suppose to be a male:



And here you can see both of them - larger "in front" suppose to be male and smaller "in background" suppose to be female:


And I have one more question - When does Festae show its unique coloration? Mine are at about 12-14cm with this color.

The dark area in the dorsal of festae #1 appears to be female.
To me, festae #2 is harder to distinguish. Although in one pic I see a bit of dark color in the dorsal too.
This was a female I had, also @13cm

with any new world Heroine male in the tank, she would change to this
